New Regulation on the Licensing of Homeopathic Medical Products was published in the Official Gazette dated 8 July 2023 and numbered 32242. This regulation covers industrially prepared homeopathic medical products manufactured by a traditional or industrial process, as well as persons who have applied for or been granted a license for such products.
The Regulation provides rules and procedures of licensing, packaging and distribution processes of homeopathic medical products in order to ensure that their desired effectiveness, safety and quality are achieved.
The Regulation entered into force upon publication replacing the Regulation on the Licensing of Homeopathic Medical Products which was published in the Official Gazette dated 24 December 2021 and numbered 31699.
However, the sub-articles 1(m), 2 and 3 of Article 8 regarding the information and documents to be submitted in the licensing application will enter into force as of 1 January 2025.
